Recognize and resist phishing messages
Treat urgent messages asking for personal information as suspicious; do not click their links or attachments, and delete them.
What it costs
A moment to pause, inspect the message, and report or delete it instead of responding; CISA's advice does not require a purchase.
What you get
You reduce the chance of opening a harmful link, email, or attachment or giving away personal information. Warning signs include urgent language, requests for personal or financial information, shortened URLs, and incorrect email addresses or links.
Notes
Do not click links or attachments that seem suspicious, and do not reply or click an unsubscribe link. Report the message using the report option near the sender or the “report spam” control in the toolbar or settings. If it might be real, find the organization’s contact information on its verified website instead of using the message.
